I am not much involved (I did the maps) because i don't have a child at school, I have an adult designing roads :) The energy and enthusiasm of the parents making this happen has made me so happy and excited. It's true, real critical mass is when enough people figure it out... and mums get it sooner than most, just cause they are the ones on the front line fighting for the health and well being of kids everywhere.

We WILL make it so.babble onhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08895102832912891306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-85530486549729740.post-25964641191780362722013-03-07T01:25:19.762-08:002013-03-07T01:25:19.762-08:00How did I miss this excellent cycling advocacy pos...How did I miss this excellent cycling advocacy post? I have been busy mumble mumble... training big kms ...tired...blah. You are spot on. We have lost our way, but I honestly believe we are on the cusp of change. As a tattered veteran on the front line of the war against motoring stupidity I offer you my love. If enough of us passionately believe that it is the right of every child to cycle to school in safety, then all will be right on the roads for everyone. I think it is up to the Moms. Lets do it. Still, I'm referencing stop signs on flat streets. As soon as you introduce a downhill, the equation changes, which is where the Idaho rule falls short.

As far as red lights, I tend to wait an extra 5 seconds to see the cars/busses slow to a stop. I've seen my virtual self get mowed down on many occasions. Often, the smartest move when cycling (and walking) can be the one that would get you a traffic violation. Also, never assuming you have the right of way might take a little longer, but at least you get where you're going.Olle Nilssonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01236927144158018880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-85530486549729740.post-85810556366183913832013-03-01T16:44:34.664-08:002013-03-01T16:44:34.664-08:00You've certainly got my vote to be the new hol...You've certainly got my vote to be the new holy C, you babblelicious PontifiCuntus!zoomernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-85530486549729740.post-68128059520196839172013-03-01T13:47:57.587-08:002013-03-01T13:47:57.587-08:00...dunno if you'll get the nod from the 'c......dunno if you'll get the nod from the 'cards' to become Pontificuntus Babbleonanon but you got my vote...

...not 'cuz you're a hottie (well, fuck ya...) & not only 'cuz you appreciate life (well, fuck ya...again...) but you've got a knack for at least trying to lead others in the right direction...bikesgonewildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01489983012589939600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-85530486549729740.post-26972777101356912692013-03-01T08:02:09.263-08:002013-03-01T08:02:09.263-08:00I want to be that seat.
